Hello Friends,
The General Store is where you will find the Seeds, Trees, Decorations and other items you’ll need to run your Farm efficiently.
Using the General Store
To access the General Store, click on the vegetable icon at the bottom of the screen. To help you find what you are looking for more easily, the Market has six tabs at the top of the menu: Seeds, Trees, Animals, Decorations, Buildings and Consumables.
Specific items can be found in their corresponding tab. If you are looking for something to plant, check out the Seeds tab. If you need new livestock, open up the “Animals” tab.
Within each of the tabs you will find additional features designed to help you sort through everything even easier. Clicking on the “sort by” drop down menu will allow you to sort items by:
In addition to the “sort by” option, there are also sub-tabs, which allow you to refine your search even further.
If you know the name of the item you are looking for (or the partial name) you can also use the Search Function to quickly sort through the contents of the Market.
When in the Market, Seeds, Trees and Animals all display Resource and Recipe information when you hover over their respective Market Cards. When looking at the resources produced, you will see how many coins the harvested crop (or ingredient) sells for and how much Feed it yields when placed in the Feed Mill. The Recipe Information displays what recipes that crop/ingredient is currently used in.
The “Record” Information displays the weight of biggest prized crop (of this type) that you have earned.
Buying Animals
The General Store gives you a wealth of information about the Animals available for purchase. Place your cursor over a Market Card to see important details.
A
This icon shows you how many XP points you will get from an animal. Experience Points are required to advance to the next level, and you get them every time you feed an adult animal.
B
This icon indicates you how much feed an animal needs to eat every time it is hungry. Animals that require more feed tend to produce more Resources, so they do pay off generously!
C
The Ingredient (or Resource) that the Animal will provide when fed.
D
The number of Coins the produced Ingredient (Resource) will sell for in your Market Stand.
E
The Recipes that the produced Ingredient can be used in. If you don’t see this section when viewing an animal, it means the Resource produced can only be sold in your Market Stand and is not used in a Recipe.
F
This is the “Preview Window”. The Preview window gives you an idea of what item you are purchasing and what it will look like when you place it on your farm.
Please Note: Some Animals produce "Rare" Resources/Ingredients when fed. A "Rare" Resource is something that your animal has a chance of providing when fed. You may have to feed your animal numerous times to receive a Rare Resource/Ingredient.
To see if an animal produces Rare Resources/Ingredients, look at their Market Card. The second Resource/Ingredient listed is the "Rare" drop.
Happy Farming!
